Issue 4 of Donnie continues the title's habit of moving across disciplines without losing focus. The issue runs interviews and editorials with Walter Van Beirendonck, Clara Besnard, Oscar Van Negen, Illa J & Ash Walker, Zoë Love Smith and Dries Vriesacker, threaded through with photography, design work, comics and the kind of cultural writing that sits in the gap between the art and fashion press.

Donnie reads more like a project than a periodical — semi-annual, made by people who clearly know each other, and the better for it. A useful counterweight to the more institutional fashion-and-culture biannuals. UK cover price £12.
