Vice — Summer 2026 / “The Self Destruction Issue”

Sale price£12.99

The latest issue of VICE magazine is The Self-Destruction Issue, 132 scintillating pages inspired by a species that is constantly finding groundbreaking new ways to destroy itself. We investigate a Miami pimp’s diabolical sex cult with the help of three survivors who will almost certainly never drink lemon juice again, hang out with the Yakuza in Japan and face-destroying Taoists in Phuket (see cover), and expose a scandal in the Pokémon community that is seeing cosplayers arming themselves with weapons against sex pests dressed up as Pikachu and co.

Since relaunching last spring, after seven years out of print, the new iteration of VICE channels the chaotic spirit of the mag’s early years, updated for the modern age. Though we would never admit this in public, we are immensely proud of The Self-Destruction Issue, the making of which—true to its name—almost destroyed us. Other contributors include: Antoine d’Agata, Will Self, Bertie Brandes, Sean Thor Conroe, Elias Rønnenfelt, Simon Reynolds, Opioid Crisis Lookbook, Biz Sherbert, Julie Poly, Chris Nieratko, Caia Hagel, and Giancarlo DiTrapano (RIP).

Vice keeps its irreverence but the assignments have got more interesting since relaunch. UK cover price £12.99.
